General English - Upper Intermediate Level 7 and 8
English is undoubtedly a language of repute and growth in modern age. It is also known as a gateway to world treasures. Progress and development is almost impossible without the knowledge of English.
If we talk about English in Middle East context, knowledge of English language is not imparted to the students at an early age. As a result, they face a number of problems in their career when they grow up.
Motivation link is a matter of interest for a general student. Initially the amount of content has been kept to minimal but it is likely to be extensive in upcoming days with disc.
We have individual (private class one on one), group classes, morning, afternoon and evening sessions. Every day classes available. You may inquire through any of our training coordinator, plan ahead and start your career with us.
- Speaking: Introducing yourself, Describing work and school, talking about likes and dislikes, talking about families, asking about and describing routines, talking about past event, talking about and describing locations, asking about and describing people’s appearance, asking about and describing cities, asking for and giving suggestions, describing countries, etc.
- Grammar: WHY questions, simple present, yes/no and why questions with do, adverbs of frequency, there is/ there are, adverbs before adjectives, infinitive complements, so/ too/ neither / either, comparative and superlative form, future with present continuous, etc.
- Pronunciation/Listening: linked sounds, syllable stress, sentence stress, intonation in questions, intonation in statements, intonation with direct address, reduction of did You, reduction of there is/ there are, contrastive stress, reduction of to, stress in responses, etc.
- Writing/Reading: writing a biography of a classmate, writing a comparison of prices in different countries, writing a text message, writing an e-mail about family, writing about favorite activities, writing a postcard, writing a magazine article, writing a restaurant review, writing unusual favor, etc.
