Electrical Engineering Professional Diploma

The profession of electrical engineering demands a strong foundation in physical science and mathematics, a broad knowledge of engineering techniques, and an understanding of the relation between technology and society. Curricula at Stanford are planned to offer the breadth of education and depth of training necessary for leadership in the profession.

This course is for those working as engineering technologists in an electrical engineering environment. You will learn how to design and validate/evaluate electrical equipment and systems, manage risk, estimate and manage projects and provide technical advice /sales. The course also teaches you the ethical and responsible application of mathematics, science, engineering techniques, Standards and Codes of Practice, engineering design practices, supervision and management of physical, human and financial resources in engineering.
